About the Notes
What format are the notes?
ACA Notes are available as professionally printed study packs, with ACA Notes Reader digital access available by subject. PDF downloads are not sold. Reader access is designed for secure online study, search, bookmarks, and progress tracking.
How are these different from other study resources?
ACA Notes are built from syllabus coverage, examiner-report intelligence, and exam-ready Part A/B/C tools. The aim is not just to explain the subject, but to show how examiners think, where students repeatedly lose marks, and how to turn knowledge into a scoring answer.
Are these affiliated with or endorsed by CAI?
No. ACA Notes is an independent study resource and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Chartered Accountants Ireland (CAI).
Can I see the notes before buying?
Yes. We provide substantial free samples for every subject — approximately 10% of the full notes, typically 30–45 pages. This is intentionally generous so you can evaluate the structure, tone, layout, and depth before purchasing.

How do I receive the notes after purchase?
After completing your purchase, your notes are printed and shipped to you with tracked delivery. All orders include tracking so you can follow your delivery. Express delivery typically arrives within 2–3 business days from the date of order.

Refund Policy
What is the refund policy for study notes?
Because printed notes are physical products, general satisfaction-based refunds are not offered.
A partial refund of 25% may be available if a student can demonstrate that they purchased and used the notes, sat the main exam sitting and failed, and also sat and failed the resit/autumn sitting for the same subject.
Students who fail the first sitting but do not attempt the resit are not eligible. Supporting documentation will be required to process any refund claim.
What is the refund policy for ACA Notes Reader?
ACA Notes Reader may be refundable within 7 days of purchase. If Reader access was purchased as part of a discounted print + digital bundle, the refund may be adjusted so the retained printed notes are not kept at a bundle discount.

How do I request a refund?
To request a refund, contact us via the contact page with your order details and the relevant supporting documentation. Refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis in line with the policy above.
What is the refund policy for ACA Notes Tutor?
ACA Notes Tutor purchases are eligible for a partial refund on a time-based sliding scale:
- Within 1 month of purchase: 30% refund
- Within 2 months of purchase: 10% refund
- After 2 months: no refund available
