FAE Core Study Notes
Strategy, risk, governance, ethics, sustainability, data, AI, and technology for integrated FAE cases.
Advisory notes for international strategy, M&A, finance, performance, pricing, data, leadership, and change.
This pack is built for the commercial judgement expected in FAE Advisory. It helps students evaluate opportunities, structure recommendations, and connect financial analysis with implementation risk.
Each ACA Notes module is split into three practical parts. Part C teaches the subject, Part B turns it into exam-ready competency notes, and Part A gives you the tools for final revision and exam execution.
International expansion, M&A, finance, treasury, pricing, data, performance, leadership, and change are taught as connected advisory work. Students learn how to evaluate opportunities commercially, not just describe models.
The material is reorganised around advisory judgement: whether to enter a market, acquire a business, raise finance, manage FX or interest-rate risk, change pricing, improve performance, or lead implementation.
The tools focus on advisory execution: investment appraisal routes, acquisition evaluation skeletons, finance-source decision frameworks, FX and interest-rate hedge routes, pricing and transfer-pricing structures, KPI design, and leadership/change response skeletons.
We provide a substantial free sample — approximately 10% of the full notes, typically 30–45 pages — so you can review the structure, tone, and depth before purchasing.
I actually enjoyed Advisory, but I found it hard to know what a strong answer was supposed to look like. These notes helped a lot with that. They made topics like strategy, investment decisions, expansion and performance measurement feel more practical and easier to apply.
What helped me most was that the notes pushed me to think commercially. With Advisory, it is easy to stay too theoretical, but these made me focus more on the business angle and what the recommendation should actually be based on.
I liked these because they matched the way Advisory works as a paper. It is not just about knowing a topic, it is about using judgment. The notes really helped me get better at pulling together the financial, strategic and operational sides of a scenario.
