Refund Policy

Overview
ACA Notes offers professionally printed study notes, ACA Notes Reader digital access, and ACA Notes Tutor. The refund terms differ between them. Please read the relevant section carefully before purchasing.
All refund requests should be submitted by email to info@acanotes.com. The purchase date is the date of your Stripe payment.
Printed Study Notes
General policy
Printed study notes are not eligible for a general satisfaction-based refund. Once printed and dispatched, they cannot be returned unless they arrive damaged or incorrect (see below).
Conditional partial refund — exam failure
A 25% partial refund may be available where all of the following conditions are met:
- You purchased and used the study notes for the relevant exam subject.
- You sat and failed the main exam sitting for that subject.
- You sat and failed the resit (autumn) sitting for the same subject.
- You provide supporting documentation of both failures (e.g. CAI result notifications).
Important: If you fail the first sitting but do not sit the resit, you are not eligible for a refund. Both the first sitting and the resit must have been attempted and failed.
The refund applies to the purchase price of the notes only. Shipping charges are not refunded. The clock for eligibility starts from your purchase date.
Damaged or incorrect orders
If your notes arrive damaged, incomplete, or you receive the wrong product, contact us at info@acanotes.com within 14 days of delivery. We will arrange a replacement or a full refund at no cost to you. Please include a description and, where possible, photos of the issue.
How to request a conditional refund
Email info@acanotes.com with the subject line "Refund request" and include:
- Your order details (name, date of purchase)
- The exam subject for which you are requesting a refund
- Evidence of both the main sitting failure and the resit failure
We will respond within 5 business days. If approved, refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.
ACA Notes Reader
ACA Notes Reader is a digital access product for purchased ACA Notes modules. A full refund of Reader access may be available within 7 days of purchase.
Reader access bought on its own
If Reader access was purchased as a standalone digital product and the refund request is made within 7 days of purchase, the Reader access price may be refunded in full.
Reader access bought as part of a print + digital bundle
If Reader access was purchased as part of a discounted print + digital bundle, any Reader refund will be adjusted to account for discounts applied to the order. This means the refund may be reduced by the discount amount connected with the retained printed notes, so that the printed notes are not kept at a bundle discount after Reader access is refunded.
The applicable discount amounts will be shown in the invoice or purchase documentation issued after checkout. Refunds are calculated from those order amounts.
After 7 days
Reader access is not normally refundable after 7 days from purchase unless required by law.
How to request an ACA Notes Reader refund
Email info@acanotes.com with the subject line "ACA Notes Reader refund" and include your order details. If approved, refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.
ACA Notes Tutor (Digital Product)
ACA Notes Tutor is a digital product. Refunds are available on a time-limited basis:

| Within 2 calendar months | 10% of the purchase price |
| After 2 calendar months | No refund available |
"1 month" and "2 months" mean calendar months from the purchase date. For example, if you purchased on 5 March, the 1-month window closes on 5 April and the 2-month window closes on 5 May.
Access to the custom GPT link and usage of ACA Notes Tutor does not affect your refund eligibility within the time windows above.
How to request an ACA Notes Tutor refund
Email info@acanotes.com with the subject line "ACA Notes Tutor refund" and include your order details (name and date of purchase). We will confirm eligibility and process the refund to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.
